Mai Shiranui, the successor of the Shiranui ninja art, has devoted her life to rigorous training in the art of ninja since her youth and is renowned for her unique fighting style.

Her name "Mai" means "Dance", and she embodies her name by moving gracefully like a dancing butterfly while delivering deadly blows like a bee. Her signature weapon, a pair of fans, is used both for defense and to unleash scorching flames through the art of ninja.
