Rise of Kingdoms: Philip II Talent Tree Build and Guide

Philip II History:

Philip II (382 BC – October 336 BC) was king of the ancient kingdom of Macedonia from 359 BC until his death in 336 BC. He was a member of the Argead dynasty, the founders of the ancient kingdom and the father of Alexander the Great.

The rise of Macedonia, including the conquest and political consolidation of most of ancient Greece during his reign, was achieved through military reform (the establishment of the Macedonian phalanx formation played a key role in ensuring victory on the battlefield), extensive use of siege engines, and effective use of diplomacy and marriage alliances.

After defeating the Greek city-states of Athens and Thebes at the Battle of Chaeronea in 338 BC, Philip II led an effort to form a federation of Greek states known as the League of Corinth, with himself as the elected hegemon and commander-in-chief of Greece for a planned invasion of the Persian Achaemenid Empire. However, his assassination by a royal bodyguard, Pausanias of Orestis, led to the immediate succession of his son Alexander, who would go on to invade the Achaemenid Empire in his father's stead.

Hermann (Prime)
Scipio Africanus (Prime)

Scipio Africanus (Prime)
Ragnar (Prime) with his insane skill set and the way their skill sets synergize is without a doubt the strongest pairing right now. Ashurbanipal if you specialize him and you get the added ability to trigger buffs with each active skill, you have an incredibly overpowered pairing. Yes, with the little asterisk that you have to have both specialties, of course… but still an incredibly powerful combo to have around. Hermann (Prime) for goodness sake, they synergize well with the way their skills interact even though they aren't really designed to synergize specifically. But, the way Hermann Prime is currently dominant makes it still a dangerous and viable pairing. Scipio Africanus (Prime) as a secondary commander with Philip as a primary commander is a pairing that synergizes really well together but I wouldn't build Scipio Prime for the sake of it.
