Yi Sun-sin History:

Yi Sun-sin (March 8, 1545 – November 19, 1598) was a military strategist, naval admiral, and famous general of the Joseon Dynasty who fought against Japan during the Japan-Korea War (1592-1598).

During Yi Sun-sin's military career, history books recorded that he participated in commanding at least 23 naval battles against the Wa (Japanese) invaders. In most of these battles, Yi Sun-sin was outnumbered and lacked the necessary supplies. However, he still won one victory after another. His most famous victory was the Battle of Myeongnyang, when despite the enemy's superiority of 333 ships (133 warships, at least 200 supply ships) to 13 Korean ships, his army still destroyed or disabled 33 Japanese warships without losing a single ship. Yi Sun-sin was seriously wounded and died in the Battle of Noryang on December 16, 1598, which was the battle that concluded the Imjin War.

Yi Sun-sin is revered as one of the greatest naval commanders in history. He is praised for his strategic vision, intelligence, initiative, and virtue. He is considered a national hero in the Korean Peninsula. Numerous monuments, awards, and cities have been named after him, as have numerous films and documentaries devoted to his exploits.

Yi Sun-sin (YSS) Review:

Legendary garrison commander, Yi Sun-sin (YSS) is a great man to defend any garrison, one of the best garrison units in Rise of Kingdoms.

He is not a commander who has a fixed type of unit to defend the garrison, on the contrary, his strength

is based on the use of mixed troops thanks to his specialized skills in addition to having the talent “Leadership” which increases statistics when using mixed troops.

As a garrison commander he is truly powerful, all his skills make YSS a natural born defender of any fort, flag or city under his command.

His command role in both early, mid and even late game is excellent, he shows up as a unique commander in his own style thanks to the effectiveness he achieves in any situation or mission we give him.

Yi Sun-sin (YSS) Commander Skills:

Field Battle: Deals direct damage to the target (Damage Factor 1000). Garrison: Deals damage to up to 3 targets in a fan-shaped area (Damage Factor 600), but each target takes 15% less damage for each additional target attacked. In Field Battles and Garrison Battles, the damage also reduces the target's movement speed by 10% for 3 seconds.

Normal attacks have a 10% chance to increase your defense by 5% and increase all damage by 5% for 3 seconds while this commander is fighting in your Alliance territory or serving as a garrison commander in a stronghold. Upgrade Defense Bonus

Damage Bonus: 5% / 7% / 9% / 12% / 15%

Increases troop defense by 10%. Increases troop damage by 5% when the number of troops under your command falls below 50%.

Increases the attack power of the garrison by 5% while this commander is serving as the garrison commander. Has a 10% chance to gain a shield (Damage Factor 300) plus 10% counter damage for the next 3 seconds when attacked.
