Hermann Prime History:
Arminius (18/17 BC – 21), also known as Armin or Hermann (Arminius is a Latinized name, like Brennus) was a chieftain of the Germanic Cherusci tribe. He led the Germanic tribes in revolt against Roman rule in AD 6, and completely destroyed three powerful Roman legions at the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest in AD 9. This is considered the heaviest defeat of the Romans since Cannae. After this victory, he had to face the Roman campaigns against Germania under Germanicus from AD 15 to AD 17, in which Germanicus was generally unable to achieve significant victories and Arminius maintained the independence of Germania.
After the Roman withdrawal, conflict arose among the Germans. Arminius won a war against Marbo, king of the Marcomanni. However, wishing to unite the Germanic tribes against Rome, he demanded absolute power after defeating the Marcomanni. As a result, his own people rebelled against him, and he was murdered by another chieftain in 21 AD. He had a son, Thumelicus, who was killed at the age of 15 in a gladiator fight at Ravenna in 30. His nephew, Italicus, ascended the throne in 47.
Nevertheless, because his Teutoburg victory pushed the Roman frontier back from the Elbe to the Rhine and thereby divided Europe between the Romans and the Germans and halted Roman expansion, he was rightly hailed by the Roman historian Tacitus as the "Liberator of Germania", although Tacitus himself considered him a "traitor". He was associated with the hero Siegfried in early medieval German mythology, and later Germans regarded him as a national hero. His exploits were celebrated in German literature and music. In 1874, four years after the unification of Germany into an empire, a monument to him was unveiled near Detmold.

Hermann Prime is the new legendary archer commander in Rise of Kingdoms with the Archer, Versatility and Support talent trees. Hermann Prime is an extremely powerful hero in open battles where you can attack multiple targets but he is definitely not a good hero when it comes to 1vs1 battles. The reason is that you will not be able to get enough poison. If you don't understand, just read Hermann Prime Skills below.

Active Skill: Fallen God Forest Target Type: AoE

Deals direct damage to up to 3 enemy troops within a fan-shaped area (damage coefficient 1200, each additional target reduces damage by 15%).10 troops hit will receive 2 stacks of Poison, lasting 10 seconds.
