Mulan History:
Hua Mulan is a legendary Chinese warrior from the Southern and Northern Dynasties period in Chinese history, originally described in The Ballad of Mulan. In the ballad, Hua Mulan disguises herself as a man to take her aging father's place in the army. Mulan fights for twelve years and achieves great merit, but she refuses any rewards and retreats to her homeland.
