Gang Gamchan Information
In Rise of Kingdoms, Gang Gamchan is a Legendary Cavalry commander. He possesses the Cavalry, Versatility, and Combo talent trees.
Commander Review
Gang Gamchan is a commander focused on heavy single-target damage output. Many players might not prefer this, as they are used to using AoE (Area of Effect) damage skills in open-field battles. He is an outstanding commander, but you can safely skip him if single-target playstyles do not suit you. However, if you already have Achilles, investing in Gang Gamchan is highly recommended as they form an exceptionally strong synergy.
It is very likely that more new commanders will be released in Rise of Kingdoms who pair well with Gang Gamchan in the future, so the safest option is to wait until those commanders launch before making a heavy investment in him.
Basic Pros & Cons:
Pros:
Extremely strong sustain capabilities.
Good tankiness and defensive stats.
High normal attack and combo damage amplification.
Powerful debuffing capabilities.
Excellent synergy with all combo-based skill sets.
Cons:
Lacks inherent AoE (Area of Effect) damage.
Healing potential can give a false sense of security, causing players to overcommit and stay on the field for too long.

Best Commander Pairings
Achilles
Arthur Pendragon
Achilles is the best commander to pair with Gang Gamchan. The reason is that Achilles' AoE attack combo triggers Gang Gamchan's healing capability. Additionally, Gang Gamchan provides all the defensive stats that Achilles lacks. You can never go wrong with this pair.
Pairing Gang Gamchan with Arthur Pendragon is also very strong, though not as effective as pairing him with Achilles. This is because Gang Gamchan paired with Achilles offers higher AoE damage and survivability. Therefore, you should only use Gang Gamchan with Arthur if you do not have Achilles.
