Genghis Khan History:
Genghis Khan, born Temujin, was the founder of the largest contiguous empire in history – the Mongol Empire. His father, the leader of a nomadic Mongol tribe, was killed by the Tatars when Temujin was only nine years old, and his family was abandoned by their clan.
Temujin’s rise to power began shortly after a shaman named Kokochu declared that he had been chosen by the Eternal Blue Sky to rule the world. By 1206, he had united all the divided tribes living on the Mongolian plains and assumed the new title “Genghis Khan,” signifying his position as the ruler of the world. Genghis Khan soon launched a series of successful invasions into China and Central Asia. He was an excellent military leader and a shrewd politician, allowing him to consolidate the lands he had conquered under Mongol leadership.
Genghis Khan died in 1227, after conquering the Western Xia Dynasty. According to legend, his body was transported to Mongolia by a funeral cortege, killing anyone and everything that stood in its way. After the burial, the escort would trample the gravesite, plant trees to further conceal the location, and finally commit suicide to ensure the secret would never be revealed.
Genghis Khan Review:
How to get the Genghis Khan Commander Sculpture: Wheel of Fortune
Genghis Khan is a great cavalry commander early in the game, but will become inferior to other cavalry commanders later in the game (e.g. Xiang Yu, Alexander Nevsky). He can still be considered a good counterattack commander due to his high damage output.
Genghis Khan's rage requirement to activate his first skill is 950, which is 5% lower than most commanders in Rise of Kingdoms, meaning Xiang Yu deals active skill damage to enemies much faster than other commanders.
When fighting Genghis Khan in open ground, you should retreat and refresh your troops whenever Genghis Khan's health drops below 70%. This is because Genghis Khan's third skill increases his damage by 30% when his health is above 70%.
