Imhotep History:

Imhotep was an advisor to Pharaoh Djoser during the Third Dynasty of ancient Egypt and a high priest of the sun god Ra at Heliopolis. He did not gain this position by birth - he was a commoner - but by his wisdom and perseverance. It was through them that he rose up and became the pharaoh's right-hand man.

Djoser appreciated Imhotep's talent and he reciprocated the pharaoh's devotion. One day, Djoser dreamed that he was climbing a ladder to heaven. So Imhotep built a step pyramid so that the pharaoh's soul could ascend to meet Ra after death. The pyramid is considered the first structure in history made entirely of stone.

Imhotep's talents did not only benefit the royal family. He was the pharaoh's physician and built the first medical academy in history to bring knowledge of the science of healing to the masses. At that time, it was still underdeveloped, but Imhotep knew how to treat more than two hundred diseases and he was considered the father of ancient Egyptian medicine. After his death, he was revered as the god of healing and the son of the god Ptah. With his wisdom, Imhotep rose from a commoner to a divine rank and forever made his name in history.

Imhotep Review:

As an epic commander, you shouldn't care too much about troop types with Imhotep, especially since you'll be running him mostly as a secondary commander, where this doesn't have any limitations since none of his skills require you to only run archers.

Imhotep's Command Skills:

Active Skill: High Priest

Inflicts debuff in area of effect (up to 5 targets in 3 seconds), targets take 30% more damage.

Passive Skill 1: Talented Prime Minister

Troops commanded by this commander gain +15% attack and +15% defense.

Upgrade Preview:

Archer Attack Bonus: 5% / 7% / 9% / 12% / 15%

Archer Defense Bonus: 5% / 7% / 9% / 12% / 15%

Passive skill 2: Divine Medicine

Increases the health of troops in the garrison by 7% when commanded by this commander.

Upgrade Preview:

Health Bonus: 1% / 2% / 3% / 5% / 7%

Passive Skill 3: Peaceful Sage

When this commander's troops are attacked, there is a 10% chance to debuff the target for 3 seconds, reducing their skill damage by 15%. The skill triggers every 5 seconds.

Skill Damage Reduction: 5% / 7% / 9% / 12% / 15%

Expertise: Stairway to Heaven

Inflicts a debuff in the area of effect (up to 5 targets for 3 seconds), targets take 30% more damage. When Imhotep is selected as a Sub-Commander, targets also lose 50 Rage per second for 3 seconds.
