Hannibal Barca History:
Hannibal, (247 BC – 183 BC), was a Carthaginian general and military strategist. The name "Hannibal" means "joy of Baal" (the Carthaginian god), and his surname "Barca" means "lightning". Barca can be spelled "Barak" or "Barcas". His father Hamilcar Barca commanded the Carthaginians in the First Punic War, and his two younger brothers were Mago and Hasdrubal and his brother-in-law was also named Hasdrubal.
Hannibal lived during a period of turmoil in the Mediterranean, when the Roman Republic established its supremacy over major powers such as Carthage, the Kingdom of Macedonia, Syracuse, and the Seleucid Kingdom. Hannibal was the most famous Carthaginian general. His most notable achievement was when, at the outbreak of the Second Punic War, Hannibal led an army, including war elephants, from Iberia across the Pyrenees and Alps into northern Italy.
During his invasion of Italy, Hannibal routed the Romans in a series of battles, including the battles of Trebia, Trasimene, and Cannae. After Cannae, many of the allies of the Roman Republic joined Hannibal when he promised them independence and self-government. According to some historians, Hannibal lacked the siege engines necessary to attack Roman strongholds, but as JF Lazenby points out, this was not due to a lack of siege engines but rather to a lack of supplies and a political agenda. He maintained an army in Italy for over a decade and never lost a major battle, but was unable to force the Romans to accept terms for peace. A Roman counter-invasion of Spain and then Africa forced Hannibal back to Carthage, where he was defeated at the Battle of Zama.
After the war, he became a successful consul in Carthage. He enacted political and economic reforms to restore Carthage after paying the war indemnity to the Roman Republic. His reforms were opposed by the Carthaginian elite. Doubtful of Hannibal's military prowess by members of the Roman Senate, Hannibal was forced into exile by Rome. During his exile, he lived at the court of the Seleucid Empire, where he became a military advisor to King Antiochus III in his war against Rome. After Antiochus III was defeated and forced to accept Roman terms, Hannibal ended up in Armenia, where he worked as a planner for a new capital. Hannibal lived at the court of Bithynia, where he could have won a resounding naval victory using biological warfare, but he was betrayed and turned over to the Romans. To preserve his honor, Hannibal committed suicide by drinking poison.

His skills and talents make him a natural leader, any unit under his command will have drastic improvements on the battlefield.
Hannibal is a powerful commander that we can use in PVP, both rally and field, he is a powerful commander, in turn terrifying thanks to his ability to significantly reduce the ability to attack, defend and use mixed troops.
His role in both the early and mid game is excellent, he emerges as a unique commander in his own right thanks to the effectiveness he achieves in any situation or task we give him.

When Hannibal's army has 2 different unit types, all damage is increased. If the army has 3 different types, all damage is increased even more. (Warriors and swordsmen are the same unit type, while warriors and stone throwers are different unit types.)

Passive Skill 2: Siege
When attacking other Governor's garrisons, Hannibal has a 10% chance to heal some of his lightly wounded units.

Passive skill 3: exploration
Increases troop strength. When fighting outside of alliance territory, increases damage to all of Hannibal's troops for 3 seconds after using the skill.

Military Performance Bonus: 3% / 4.5% / 6% / 8% / 10%
Damage Bonus: 5% / 7% / 9% / 12% / 15%
Expertise: War Elephant Trampling
Deals direct damage (Damage Factor 400) to one target then deals additional damage (Damage Factor 300) to 3 targets in a forward direction on the next turn and reduces the 3 targets' damage by 25% and defense by 25% for 3 seconds.
