Call of Dragons: Nika Talent Build Guide | Hero Pairings & War Pets

Call of Dragons: Nika Talent Build Guide | Hero Pairings and War Pets 2024

Are you planning to deploy or currently running Nika in Call of Dragons within one of your legions, and wondering how to allocate her talent points, which artifacts work best, and which hero pairings suit her most? Well, you have come to the right place! Below, you will find detailed answers to each of those questions, helping you make your Nika as powerful as possible in any combat situation.

Best Troop Type for Nika

Use all Infantry units or at least as many as possible, because Nika boosts HP and Attack for all infantry units in her legion through her 3rd skill. Additionally, several talent nodes shown below exclusively affect Infantry units. While this is not strictly required, doing so will significantly improve performance and make your gameplay much easier in the long run.

Best Hero Pairings for Nika

Madeline combined with Nika is probably the strongest infantry combo available right now. Since Madeline also deals active skill damage, Nika's 4th skill is not wasted. However, you should consider using Madeline as the primary commander in this setup unless your Nika is significantly more developed than your Madeline.

Hosk is an outstanding overall hero in Call of Dragons who works well regardless of troop type. You will want to run Nika as the primary commander here to utilize her Infantry Talent Tree. While this isn't the most tanky combination for prolonged battles, it inflicts heavy punishing damage while remaining quite versatile. Although only a small percentage of players can field this setup, it is such a great combination that it warrants inclusion here.

Bakhar is a great Epic hero option, but there's more to it. You actually want to run him as the primary commander to increase damage dealt to target units via his active skill, allowing you to follow up with massive skill damage from Nika.

Theia is a surprisingly sneaky pick. With Nika as the primary commander in this pairing, you receive shields from Theia to increase open-field survivability, while Theia further boosts Nika's solid skill damage output. You will miss out on Flying unit perks, but that is perfectly fine in this configuration.

Garwood is a highly resilient tank in Call of Dragons whose kit focuses on durability and defeating enemies through counterattacks without taking significant damage. Given Nika's offensive nature and heavy skill damage, pairing her with Garwood feels more like a secondary alternative.

Best Talent Tree Build for Nika

Best Talent Tree Build for Nika

Building Nika with a focus on an Infantry Talent setup—my absolute favorite path for her—means committing fully to the Infantry tree right after picking up the base talents and unlocking the central node. March Speed is extremely critical to grab early because infantry troops are naturally slow, and extra speed offers significantly more flexibility on the open battlefield. Next, pick up Adrenaline Rush for extra Attack that synergizes well with her kit, followed by Cool-Headed to bolster Defense whenever you activate a Rage skill (you don't want her marching on the front lines as a glass cannon). From here, All-Round Conquest works great to reduce incoming damage, while General provides massive overall value by boosting virtually all stats. Crucially, Encouraging Dance turns her into a rage-generation machine as her legion takes continuous hits, fueling her rage to punish opponents with powerful skill damage. Finally, pick up the capstone talent in the Infantry Tree, Ready for Battle, for extra counterattack opportunities. Finish distributing your remaining talent points as shown in the image (red talents), and you will have an incredible talent build for a hard-hitting infantry hero.
