He was born in the land of Springwarden during an unprecedented blizzard in the year 1049. He enrolled in the Vale Society in 1120 under the guidance of the mysterious magic master Hedwyn. In 1188, he discovered that Hedwyn was practicing Necromancy and defeated him in a duel. By 1196, he successfully protected the Vale Society and was appointed Dean of the Academy of Arcane Magic by Chancellor Gwyllyn.
