Are you planning to deploy or already running Ffraegar in Call of Dragons in one of your legions, and want to know how to invest your talent points, which artifacts work best, and which heroes you should pair her with? Well, you’ve come to the right place! Below, you’ll find answers to each of those questions, helping you make your Ffraegar as powerful as possible in every combat situation.
Ffraegar Skills
Best Troop Type for Ffraegar
There are two main ways to use Ffraegar—one is pairing her with another Flying hero using Flying units for an insane hunting setup. The other is pairing her with a buffer hero like Hosk and running a full Marksman march.
Best Hero Pairings for Ffraegar
Syndrion is clearly a perfect pairing since they were released together—both are Marksmen, and all of their skills and talents complement each other seamlessly. However, I ultimately recommend running Syndrion as the primary commander in this march.
Hosk is a phenomenal pairing for Ffraegar because he can keep up with her ultra-long attack range while boosting damage output. Given Ffraegar's frequent skill crits, they form a deadly combo.
Kinnara is another excellent Marksman hero you can pair with Ffraegar, offering strong synergy and high damage potential.
Nico might seem like a natural fit since he's also a Marksman hero, but I'm listing him here as a word of caution: his active skill has a medium range (forcing Ffraegar out of her superior range advantages), and you cannot form a flying march. You can use this as a basic Marksman march, but I wouldn't recommend it beyond that (See full build guide here).
Theia is another natural pair for Ffraegar as both are Flying heroes (it might not be obvious at first, but Ffraegar is a Flying unit hero). Theia takes full advantage of Ffraegar's long-range active skill, making the entire march hit hard while staying significantly more durable.
Kregg can serve as a viable early-game pairing. Even though he is a Flying hero, he has low reliance on flying units specifically, making the march work reasonably well.
Gwanwyn can also work, but aside from both being Marksman heroes, there isn't much deep synergy. Still, if she's your only available option, it gets the job done.
