Are you planning to use or already running Garwood in one of your Call of Dragons legions and want to know how to invest talent points, which artifacts work best, and which heroes to pair him with? Well, you’ve come to the right place. Below, you will find the answers to all those questions, helping you make your Garwood as powerful as possible in every situation.
Best Troop Types for Garwood
The troop type depends on whether you are using him to defend your city or any garrison. Use Infantry and follow one of the talent builds I have provided below. In a garrison unit, you often have mixed troops, so you don't need to worry too much about that.
Garwood Hero Skills:
Best Hero Pairings for Garwood
Nika is a pairing you might want to use if you are out on the battlefield looking for trouble. Garwood can survive for a long time while Nika deals massive damage, and both belong to the Infantry unit, so they go quite well together.
Hosk has great popular buffs and can go far with Garwood, if you exclude the fact that he is neither easy nor cheap to get.
Madeline paired with Garwood is arguably the tankiest legion pair you can run—Garwood will heal, Madeline will shield, and you use counter-attack damage to survive as long as possible. This is also the go-to combo if you are the main tank in raids against Behemoths.
Bakhar is a great early-game pairing if you pull Garwood early because he boosts overall damage while Garwood provides durability. You can even hide your epic Bakhar behind Garwood so he isn't targeted immediately.
Eliana isn't the first hero that comes to mind, but actually, with her shielding capability, Garwood has more synergy than you might think, and they are a great pair in the early stages as well.
Theia is more like a tech support hero because she has a shielding ability, but you miss out on all the other synergies.
